When to choose custom software

The starting point is the process, not the technology. These questions help you choose.

Identify the actual problem

Before choosing a platform, we describe the work that requires too many steps, introduces errors or limits growth. Who is involved? What data is needed? What outcome would genuinely change everyday work?

Compare configuration and custom development

An existing solution may fit if it covers essential workflows and integrates with current tools. Custom development makes sense when distinctive processes, rules or integrations need control that alternatives cannot provide. The comparison also considers maintenance, dependencies and long-term cost.

Validate before expanding

A prototype and an initial increment let us validate usefulness and adoption without building everything at once. We agree which tasks must work and how to measure them. Scope grows based on evidence and shared priorities.
